Consultancy to assess the feasibility of constructing a new Warehouse in Western Jamaica versus utilizing a Public Private Partnership, where suppliers carry out the warehousing and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical sundries directly to health facilities across the island. The consultant will also evaluate which option will better accomplish NHF’s goal of improving accessibility of medication in Western Jamaica and reducing haulage fees.

CTO HUMAN RESOURCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS AUDIT

The main objective of this consultancy is to conduct an assessment of the roots and tubers, cocoa and fresh fish value chains and linkages in the agro-food/fisheries (agricultural and agro-based) sector in the OECS and to identify the Region’s comparative advantage in the production and marketing of the identified commodities in both regional and international markets. This would form the basis for the development of appropriate regional and national support mechanisms (policies, investment proposals, programmes, etc.) to assist agro-based MSMEs in the region to expand the reach of the roots and tubers, cocoa and fresh fish value and products made from them.

This project provided the Client with: A framework for the Harmonised Registration of Health Professionals (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians and imaging technicians. The framework was meant to be a guide outlining the requirements, processes and procedures that will need to be implemented or adjusted in order to achieve a harmonized regime that facilitates easy and efficient registration (and licensing) of health professionals.
