CONSULTANCY TO CREATE BEST PRACTICE MODELS AND DELIVER TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO IMPLEMENT NATIONAL CSME WORKPLANS

The overall objective of this project was to contribute to the deepening of Regional Integration and in particular to achieve consolidation of the CSM. The Consultancy also sought to contribute to the harmonization of administrative practices and procedures relating to the five regimes pursuant to Articles 76 and 78 of the Revised Treaty.

CONSULTANCY TO ORGANIZE MARKET PENETRATION VISITS FOR EXPORT TT

The objective of this consultancy  was to organize and facilitate missions to Jamaica and Barbados for exporTT Officers.  It involved conducting secondary and primary research, organising visits to public and private sector entities, and writing mission reports.

CONSULTANCY TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT (EPA) UNIT IN ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

This study involved the preparation of business plans and strategic marketing plans for six SMEs in St. Vincent and The Grenadines to facilitate the application for grant and loan funds to support export activities.

STRENGTHENING THE CAPACITY OF EXPORT TT

The overall aim of this project was to improve the capacity of participating Trinidad and Tobago businesses to penetrate the markets of French Caribbean Outermost Territories (FCORs) by improving their understanding of the requirements and business culture of the markets of the FCORs and. The project also aimed to build the capacity of BDC staff to support future Trade penetration efforts.

NATIONAL TRADE IN SERVICES WORKSHOP

The overall aims of this project involved assisting the Government of Mauritius in preparing for SADC services negotiations, examining the WTO request-offers of all SADC countries, numerous industry and sector studies as well as Mauritius’ position on services in other negotiations; It also involved in  assisting Mauritius in developing its national negotiating position with respect to financial services, transportation, telecommunications, and tourism. 

IMPLEMENTATION OF LONG TERM SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR CURACAO

The main areas of focus in this assignment involved industrial development policy and trade policy. The assignment sought to design and assist the implementation of a long term sustainable economic development plan for Curacao.
